Our ‘Blanchard Avenue’ project started out as a single bathroom renovation and quickly developed into a full scale home renovation. We discovered this newly purchased home had a myriad of corrupt building techniques hidden both under the floors and in the walls. Birdblack Design doesn’t offer “Band-Aid” solutions: if we encounter a pre-existing problem, we fix it and fix it properly.
These pre-existing building issues caused leaks and damages both upstairs and downstairs. Therefore, both the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms were completely renovated
The downstairs bathroom had porcelain timber look tiling, whereas upstairs we opted for a neutral concrete look tile on the floor.
The black and white scheme for both bathrooms had life injected into it with our feature mosaic tile. The white grout really contrasts the tile, making the pattern stand to attention. A balance of custom made white polyurethane joinery and CaesarStone Calacatta Nuvo benchtops leaves both bathrooms feeling fresh and revived.
