Prior to renovating, the main bathroom was tired, lacking personality and style. The room was fitted with square terracotta floor tiles, paired with basic white wall tiles with seashell tile borders. This space had so much potential.
With this bathroom the plumbing and window positions remained in relatively the same locations. We made the space more functional through the shower design, selection of fixtures and fittings and installation of storage solutions.
We installed a frameless shower with a hinged opening door. This space was fitted with twin shower which features a large overhead shower along with a hand shower. The shower floor was tiled in a matte grey penny tile mosaic, this was specified as it allows the fall for the drainage to be less visible as well as being tactile underfoot.
We replaced the existing inset bath with a stunning freestanding bath, accompanied with a floor-mounted bath mixer.
Behind the vanity and toilet is a wall of soft blue coloured fan shaped tiles. Each tile has a subtle crackled glaze on the surface. This adds a textural element to the space, the perfect backdrop for our custom made solid American oak vanity. This vanity is designed with functional drawers along with a shelf for styling towels. Above the vanity we have installed even more storage with semi-recess mirror cabinetry. This cabinetry extends along the whole wall, making use of every inch of space.
