This kitchen doubled in size by the time we were done with it and what a change for the better that has made. This wing of the home is made up of three areas; the dining room tucked down the back followed by the kitchen and then open casual meals area. The existing dining room was too small to house the owner’s dining table and was a room that would rarely ever be used because it was so secluded from the entertaining space of the kitchen. So in turn, the existing wall between the dining and kitchen was removed creating an open plan kitchen which was now proportionally sized to the rest of the home.
The style for this kitchen is contemporary with a touch of traditional elements. The kitchen cabinetry compromises of a dual combination of textured grain laminate and a white matt finish polyurethane. The Caesar Stone Calacatta Nuvo benchtops exude elegance throughout the space and paired with the copper splashback really are a match made in heaven.

The Italian timber look porcelain tiles bring warmth into the space and with the varied pattern on each tile they too create yet another beautiful layer to this kitchen. There is so much storage in this kitchen which was meticulously designed to accommodate the owners and the way in which they cook and entertain. Pantry storage is maximised with not a single dead corner or wasted space to be found. The detail down to cutlery and spice inserts has been designed and custom made. This truly is a kitchen than is easily adaptable from two people cooking at once to having the entire family over for a gathering.
