Horsley Residence

This kitchen is the hub of a very busy working family home. It was looking very tired and worn and the function of the space was almost non-existent. We began by swapping the location of the kitchen with the adjoining dining room. This allowed us to double the size of the kitchen whilst retaining a dining space and a newly built linen cupboard and study nook for the kids.

Storage was the highest priority on the wishlist and that is evident by the amount of storage we were able to successfully design into the new kitchen. Drawers have been designed to house every item they own. We’ve incorporated a corner pantry with appliance cupboard next door. The appliances are integrated given the appearance of a very crisp white kitchen.

The soft tones of the timber breakfast bar paired with the flooring allow the white of the cabinets and stone benchtops to sit softly against one another. Did I mention the sleek looking oven, combination oven and built in coffee machine, talk about luxe! Interior
